Sarah has worked within the mental health and substance use field since 2002. After qualifying in Person Centred Counselling in 2005, she has worked in a variety of roles including Mental Health Rehabilitation, as a Drugs Worker at HMP Styal, a community engagement worker with Women in Prison and a Welfare Rights Worker on psychiatric units. She is an experienced one to one worker and has worked in a variety of managerial roles, remaining passionate about front line work and returning to this throughout her career. She is an experienced group work facilitator and writer in addition to writing and delivering training courses to professionals in both staturory services and the voluntary sector. Qualifying in Transformational Life Coaching 2022 enabled Sarah building on existing skills and pursue her passion for 1:1 work and the provision of quality services to vulnerable people. Sarah know has a thriving 1:1 private practice and is committed to providing coaching to those who are working within the statutory and charity sector assisting with confidence, reducing burn out, Experienced in project planning and evaluation. Ensuring excellent practice - promoting mental health and work life balance. Enabling the best quality services to those in need. Can do, fun approach. Focus on best practices and finding the joy in work.

How Sessions Work
Coaching is provided remotely, from the comfort of your own home or work space.
Session aims and objectives are led by you. We will explore goals, discuss techniques to achieve them and why and what you have said and how it is impacting on both work and home.
There are a variety of formats, ad hoc sessions, 3 month and six month blocks.
Before booking a session I would recommend dropping me a line to arrange a no obligation call and coffee, I can give you more information about me and you can see if I am the right coach for you.
If you would like coaching but are not in a position to pay for sessions do let me know because slots are available each month on a pay it forward basis. They are free, the exchange is to pay it forward through a positive exchange with another person.

Ways to Work with Me
If you want to bring the best out in yourself through 1:1 sessions or your practice through group work, I'd love to hear from you.
With experience of group work facilitation including therapeutic communities spanning many years, I am able to hold space compassionately and honestly.
Lived experience and 25 years on the front line leave me passionately committed to improving outcomes for our clients, the first step to this is to improve the experiences and build on skills of front line workers. I am aware of the joys and difficulties we experience when providing services to the most vulnerable, this leaves me well placed to provide a safe, understanding and honest space for workers.

3 sessions available at any time of your choosing within a 3 month period. Follow up session provided after 6 months. Perfect if you're putting something new in place, but have some blocks and want to gain insight into them.

This service is a favorite among many of my clients, sessions can be booked flexibly according to what would work best for you- perhaps it would be beneficial to see me weekly for 4 weeks and then have 2 monthly review sessions? Alternatively you may prefer to see me monthly over 6 months. We can discuss what works best and you can change your mind at any point during the process. Ideal if you want to explore new ideas in place and evaluate when implemented
